I ain't saying your information is not good, but what if you added a post title to possibly get people's attention? I mean %BLOG_TITLE% is a little plain. You could peek at Yahoo's home page and watch how they write post titles to grab viewers to click. You might add a related video or a picture or two to grab people excited about what you've got to say. In my opinion, it could make your website a little bit more interesting.
